The end of the first trimester is close in sight....thank goodness...
2 more to go.....and that's scary in itself.....bc than i won't be puking...i will be cleaning up the baby's puke. and poop. and pee. grrreat.
I read today that the baby already has fingerprints (oh and it has finger nails too... "Finger nails....... reallly? huh."- juno) How cute is that, though....little finger prints to leave on the world. If it's a girl, she has over 2 million eggs in her ovaries already. And God help us if it is a girl when her eggs start a-droppin. He or she is about 3 inches now.
This baby site gives this idea to have both parents write down "my mother always" and "My mother never" and then same for fathers....so that we could develop traits that we agree on for parenting.... Now, I could be wrong....but I bet that Julian's and my lists will look VERY different. His will look like this:
"My mother always went to Church each Sunday. My mother had dinner on the table by 6. My mother went to Noah's bagels each day for me and served it to me with love."
Mine will look like this,
"My mother told me that Fuck is an appropriate word to use when expressing my feelings. My mother believed one shouldn't drive unless drunk. My mother always said that if you don't like something about your body, you can pay and get what you want! (as she would point to her chest saying proudly '5 thousand....and 5 thousand' " God love the woman.
So I'll run the idea by Julian and see what he thinks.
