funny girls

The girls are getting along really well lately which is fun to watch.  They ask to snuggle together in Leah's bed at nap time, though they have yet to fall asleep together.  Bri is constantly asking for "EEEE-AH? EEEE-AH?"  The other day we left the girls with Julian's mom so we could go on a date and Bri was crying hysterically.  Leah came running and said,"It's ok Bwee.  EEE-AH's here.  Sister's here bwee" and she kissed her on the cheek.

Leah has been liking this little boy named Jack for a while now.  She talks about him about as much as she used to talk about Lukey (who I'd much prefer for her).  The last two days she has woken up out of a dead sleep with a comment about Jack.  She said, "I;m goin to tell Jack that I split my lip open at school, Mommy."  And the other day she announced, "Mommy?  I'm going to ask Jack to buy me a ring."  I asked her why and she said to get married but she would ask his mother first if it's ok.  I do like her sense of feminism while still getting him to buy the ring.  Later that day I asked her how that went at school.  Her reply:  "I asked him when hes gonna buy my ring.  He said no.  I asked if he going to college and he said no!  I said I can't marry him if he doesn't go to college!"  Good girl.  Now she keeps telling us she's telling Jack he needs to go to college.  Bless her heart.

Bri is into dancing to Justin Bieber's Baby and into Gangham Style by Psy.  She points to the tv and moves her arms around.  If she wants Bieber she starts singing "Baby, baby-oooooo...babbbby babbby oooohhh" and if she wants the other she purses her lips and throws her hands up to do "op op op"  The other day Bri asked my sister for Baby and she thought that meant her baby (what she calls her stuffed bunny of which we have three of)  but then she said "no!  Baby baby oooohhh"  We got the point.  Sometimes in the middle of the night we hear bri singing to herself.  She sang herself the rockabye lullaby today and it was so sweet.  She has a nice voice :)

Julian turns 30 this week and Leah's very excited bc Daddy needs a Star Wars cake and he gonna has a party!

Today my nephew was born!  A big Congrats to my older brother Chris and Laurel.  I am so excited to be an Auntie!  He's such a beautiful baby :)
